We engage in various means of communication and interaction, such as creating websites, social media accounts, email addresses, and voice and/or video communication channels. "Syrian Hope Forum" has no intention of collecting user data from our website or any other digital media we employ. However, some of our activities or digital campaigns may require users to share their data with us.


We do not collect personal information unless:

  • Participating in an email campaign managed by "Syrian Hope Forum," if you choose to do so.
  • Participating in an opinion poll or voting operations managed by "Forum," known as "digital forms."
  • Contacting us, either through social media, chat feature, or other communication channels we adopt. When contacting us via email or any other means, such as contact forms.
  • Joining the forum by applying for virtual membership.

You may participate with us:

  • Name and date of birth
  • Nationality and country of residence
  • Email address and phone number
  • Skills and educational level
  • Marital status
  • You may share additional data depending on the nature of your participation and/or communication.

How We Use Your Data:

When you participate in a digital email campaign managed by the "Forum," you may share your "email address, name, in addition to the data added to the email message" with third parties, including email service providers.

When you participate in opinion polls or voting operations, you may share "email address, name, phone number, nationality and country of residence, in addition to your answers." This data may be retained without sharing it with any third parties. "We may use external services, such as Google and Microsoft, which may have access to the shared data."

We may use some of the data we have, such as "marital status - education level," without using sensitive data like "name - phone number - email address - or other private means of contact," either to launch digital campaigns, develop them, or use them in the topics we discuss in the forum.

We may exchange data with trusted third parties (purpose: to achieve the purpose based on your participation with us).

The communication team of the forum may consist of several people, leading to sharing all or part of the data with them.
We may add email addresses to a mailing list, which we use to stay in touch with individuals who have expressed interest in our humanitarian message.

We do not collect data through browsing our website or our accounts on social media. However, we use external services such as website hosting, chat feature, social media accounts, and others. We do not guarantee that external parties (third parties or service providers operating our sites or other means) will not use cookies.


Data Retention:

We may keep a copy of all "outgoing and incoming" data as a result of communicating with us or emailing us, or chatting with us via email or any other means. This includes "digital forms, communication, and dialogue channels." No one or entity can request us to delete, hide, provide, or keep any or part of the data. We cannot request the removal of all or part of the content "written, read, heard, or seen" after it has been published on the forum network.
